AUBURN â As residents ring in 2021, Auburn Tri Kappa is reminding DeKalb County residents to schedule their mammograms for the year and continue breast self-awareness. According to the American Cancer Society, one in eight women will develop breast cancer in her lifetime. With busy schedules, women often neglect having their yearly breast cancer screening as recommended by the American Cancer Society. Breast cancer diagnosed in the early stages has a 98% cure rate.
