44m Benetti motor yacht Checkmate sold | SuperYacht Times

The 44.2-metre Benetti motor yacht
Checkmate is now sold. Her sale was concluded by James Clayton and John Cohen of Merle Wood & Associates who represented the seller.
She can accommodate as many as 12 guests between her five cabins, and also hosts a crew of nine. Her interiors has been finished in a warm colour palette, with browns, creams and golds.
Checkmate was launched in 2012, and delivered to her American owners shortly thereafter. She is the 15th hull of Benettiâs Vision line. The motor yacht cruises at 14 knots, and has a top speed of 15 knots. She had a last known asking price of â¬10,500,000.

Oceanco superyacht Seven Seas for sale | SuperYacht Times

The 86-metre Oceanco superyacht
Seven Seas is now for sale for the first time since her launch. The Oceanco yacht for sale, which was launched in 2010, features naval architecture from the boards of Azure Naval Architects and exterior designs by Nuvolari Lenard. The superyacht has been well maintained throughout her years afloat, and has recently completed her 10-year class survey, leaving her in turnkey condition for her new owner.
The interiors of the yacht for sale were a collaborative creation between Nuvolari Lenardand Molly Isaksen. She can accommodate up to 20 guests between her nine cabins, including an owner's suite situated on its own private deck, with a Jacuzzi. The additional staterooms including a full-beam VIP stateroom, three doubles and one triple, are situated on the main deck, while another three cabins can be found on the lower deck. Twenty-eight crew are also hosted aboard.

Oceanco's 53m yacht Sunrise has been sold in Italy

Sunrise has been sold thanks to Cecil Wright & Partners, Merle Wood & Associates, and Hans van Doornmalen of Edmiston, Â who made the introduction to the buyer, and with the buyer represented by Martyn Worms of Â Camberley International. She was sold after more than three years on the market with a last known asking price of â¬14,500,000. Under her new ownership, she will be available for charter with London office of Camberley International.
Built originally in 2000,
Sunrise has been regularly refitted and underwent a full rebuild of her port engine between 2017 and 2018, received a new swim platform and bulbous bow fitted in 2010, and quantum zero speed stabilisers in 2012, among other upgrades over the years.

40m Hatteras yacht Tranquility sold | SuperYacht Times

The 39.62-metre Hatteras yacht
Tranquility has been sold after 695 days on the market with a last known asking price of $2,950,000. The deal took place in Florida with Merle Wood & Associates representing the seller and Vince Pyle of Peck Yachts introducing the buyer.
Tranquility was originally built in 1995 and was refitted in 2018. Her naval architecture and exterior are the works of Jack Hargrave and she features an interior by Dee Robinson Interiors.

Palm Beach International Boat Show has 2021 dates, but West Palm OK needed

Informa Markets US Boat Shows, the organizers of The Palm Beach International Boat Show, has announced March 25-28 as its 2021 show dates. However, the event needs to be approved by the city of West Palm Beach.
Amanda Paez, marketing coordinator for Mayor Keith James' office, said the city will review the boat show's COVID-19 plans next week before giving the event the official go-ahead.
“We have had discussions with the boat show organizers on proceeding with the event in a manner that is safe and consistent with CDC guidelines. As with all events in the City of West Palm Beach, the boat show organizers are required to submit a COVID-19 mitigation plan that will be reviewed by a panel of City employees, including representatives from the West Palm Beach police and fire departments. Their plan has been submitted and is currently in the review process,” Paez said in an email.
