Merry Point Ferry To Close For Painting
If you’re a Merry Point ferry rider you’ll be unable to use the service from around mid-month through mid to late June because the boat requires a repaint. The Rappahannock Record reports the Department of Transportation paints the ferry every 5 years and it’s done at this time of year because the painting is done outside and is temperature dependent.
