. ayman mohyeldin in cairo. thank you very much. let s go live now to nbc s tom costello in washington, d.c. tom, good morning. what security measures are aviation officials in this country thinking about doing or taking in response to all of this? reporter: yeah, jose, good morning. as you know, the white house announced in the wake of this metrojet crash, they are reviewing security and really reviewing it at overseas airports for flights that are inbound. in total, 275 airports overseas have agreements with the u.s., specifically the tsa, on how to ensure their security is optimal and in compliance with tsa regulations. and what we re hearing is that a handful of those airports, specifically those in the middle east, will likely receive a mandate and/or a strong recommendation from the united states government from the tsa working in concert with the airlines, the governments, et cetera, that they need to be doing more, stepping up security in the wake of what happened to metroj ....
