The woman accused of fleeing to Thailand after a hit-and-run crash that killed a Michigan State University student is back in Michigan.
Tubtim "Sue" Howson, the driver accused of fatally striking a Michigan University student last month and then fleeing to Thailand, will return to the United States to face charges, Thai officials announced.
"I did not think I would run away, but I was very shocked. I tried to call the police but my hands were shaking," she said.
