"Joy!" is Luther Henderson's gospel arrangement of "Joy to the World."
The orchestra will sit on stage. Listeners who'd like to hear the rehearsal and performance will be seated in the loge and balcony.
The evening also will include the premiere of a short work written by Michael Slon for both choirs.
Music director Benjamin Rous will conduct the orchestra in Beethoven's "Piano Concerto No. 5 in E-flat Major" with pianist Arunesh Nadgir.
