The Addison County community came out to support LGBTQ+ people Sunday. From College Park to the Town Green, the 2nd annual Pride Parade was enjoyed by everyone in attendance.
The vigil took place amid a sharp rise in anti-transgender legislation and violence occurring across the United States. In February, the Human Rights Campaign reported tracking “340 anti-LGBTQ plus bills that have been introduced in state houses across the country” so far in 2023.
