Fire crews are gaining some ground. The fire has spread across 136 square miles of El Dorado County. It has a plume of smoke so big you can see from space. More than 5000 Fire Fighters are working double shifts. It cost 5 million a day to fight this massive blaze. Crews got a small break yesterday with overcast skies and some drizzle. But the fires burning in the tinder dry area that has been under Drought Conditions for three years and drizzle does not help that much.
