The state government and the BMC assured the Bombay High Court that all mitigation measures to ensure protection and movement of wildlife in the Aarey Colony will be taken while upgrading the existing roads.
During the hearing on Thursday, Zaman Ali, advocate for the intervenors, said that certain parameters will have to be used for repair of forest roads. “The internal roads are in an eco-sensitive zone of the forest department,” said Ali.
