Thousands expected to gather to watch in cathedrals, parks and other public venues across UK
Around a million people will line the streets of London to witness scenes of breathtaking pomp and splendour as Britain pays tribute to Queen Elizabeth II, the country's greatest monarch.
With the line at around 3.5 miles long, mourners who have made the last-minute scramble to see the Queen's coffin this evening can expect to queue for around seven hours.
At 10.41pm tonight, the Government said it stopped mourners from joining the line to see the Monarch lying in state ahead of her funeral tomorrow.
