The chance to witness the aurora borealis, commonly known as the northern lights, in Maryland is only possible if the sky conditions behave, WJZ's Chief Meteorologist Derek Beasley reports.
Aurora borealis could be visible across Scotland, as well as possibly Northern Ireland and much of northern England, the Met Office's Space Weather arm has said.
