Over 50 cats have been seized from a home in Auburn. Jeffery Bartos and Miranda Loggans have been charged with animal cruelty.
In all, animal control officials were trying to find shelter for more than 100 cats from feral cat colonies in Auburn and Canton.
Thursday, agents came and seized 55 cats from the home.
Police had been investigating conditions at the Seventh Street home since August when neighbors began complaining about hordes of cats and unhealthy conditions at the home.
In total, 55 cats were seized from the home.
