New Delhi, Aug 17 (IANS) Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Thursday expressed grief over the death of former Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) chief Dr V.S. Arunachalam.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Thursday expressed deep grief on the passing away of former DRDO chief V S Arunachalam.
His distinguished career spanned across Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC), National Aeronautical Laboratory, and Defence Metallurgical Research Laboratory. Arunachalam helmed the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) and was the Scientific Advisor to the Defence Minister from 1982-92.
Former DRDO director general, VS Arunachalam, passed away in the US on Wednesday at the age of 87. His family confirmed his demise in a statement.
