09:12 EDT, 15 March 2021 Tokyo Olympic Games basketball prospect Mitch Creek has been stood down from the NBL after being charged by Victorian police. The South East Melbourne co-captain, 28, has been stood down from the NBL after being charged with assault. Creek, who is in the frame to play for the Boomers at this year s Olympics, has denied the Victorian police charges. The 28-year-old has been stood down from playing and training duties after Basketball Australia s integrity unit undertook a preliminary investigation. Police will allege Mitchell assaulted a woman in her 20s inside her Melbourne home on November 22 last year, according to The Age. ....
