Many who dont know, what is the history of home rule . Without going back to far, we had it at one time and lost it. And theres the movement was on over that long period of time trying to regain it. And there was a lot of opposition to it. As a matter of fact. But our greatest opposition was apathy. But some people in the district didnt want it because they were happy with the way things were.
