Good Morning David, The reason as to why I am looking for a Fortis lathe, believe it or not I worked in the factory in Cornwall that sold , built , reconditioned the lathe many years ago , it was also used in their own production work shop as the company were also approved by the MOD & Admiralty to manufacure fighting vehicle spares etc, some of the lathes were sold with the square tool post & some had the single American tool post, they were supplied with logitudinal feed as well as cross slide feed to sum up this is an old man going back to his roots
