Repeal Bangladesh Digital Security Act – demands Amnesty Bangladeshi authorities must end the crackdown on right to freedom of expression online and urgently repeal or amend the draconian Digital Security Act (DSA), Amnesty International said in a new briefing released on Monday. RAB fines two pharmaceuticals Tk 11 lakh 127 DHAKA, May 24, 2021 (BSS) – Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) fined Tk 11 lakh in a raid conducted in two fake pharmaceutical factories in the capital’s Jatrabari on charges of making counterfeit medicines of different brands on Monday. During this time, the mobile court seized 70 dices for making fake packaging and packets. RAPID Action Battalion (RAB-10) ASP (Media) Enayet Kabir Soeb told BSS that a team led by RAB Executive Magistrate Mohammad Akhtaruzzaman and RAB-10 realized the fine.
