it all started with yevgeny prigozhin accusing russian forces of firing on his mercenaries in ukraine. prigozhin says his forces have crossed from ukraine and taken the city of rostov and have seized military facilities in voroneszh which is on the way to moscow as well. there s increased security in moscow with so called anti terror measures introduced. the kremlin has called for prigozhin s arrest with top russian generals telling wagner forces to stand down and the russian president vladimir putin has given a tv address and said russia is facing a betrayal. these pictures have come into us at the bbc. a spokesperson been cited by the ria news agency. there have been some questions as to weather putin was still in the kremlin. a spokesperson says he is working there. we have verified that this is at a town called pavlovsk in the varonezh region north of rostov on the road towards moscow. you can see smoke billowing across the area. we don t know the cause of the smoke ....
