Cincinnati police officers responded to the shooting around 11:04 p.m. in the 5800 block of Pameleen Court.

Mt. Airy Groceries feeds families in need during the COVID-19 pandemic

PHILADELPHIA -- Mt. Airy Groceries along Germantown Avenue started off as a grassroots effort on one couple's front porch in April 2020. It quickly turned into a donated storefront, and it's flourishing.
The couple and masterminds behind it all are Nicholas Freeman and Jessica Rights, who were both laid off from their catering jobs during the pandemic. Now they use their industry skills to fight food insecurity.
"The flipside of food scarcity is also food waste, which is also a huge problem," said Freeman.
Mt. Airy Groceries is based around volunteers. Freeman and Rights get food donated from wholsalers like Philly Food Works. Food is then delivered to charities like Germantown Face to Face and Philadelphia Interfaith Hospitality Network. Those organizations distribute the food or volunteers drop it off directly.

The Hamilton County Prosecutor's office is asking potential additional victims to come forward after indicting a man for multiple rapes, kidnapping and aggravated robbery Friday.

The Hamilton County Prosecutor's office is asking potential additional victims to come forward after indicting a man for multiple rapes, kidnapping and aggravated robbery Friday.
According to Hamilton County Prosecutor Joseph Deters, 30-year-old Adonas Hicks has been charged with raping three people at gunpoint between September and November 2020. Both victims from the attacks in November were transgender, and Hicks may have hoped they would not report the attacks to police, according to Deters.

CINCINNATI (FOX19) - A shooting is under investigation in Mt. Airy early Monday.
A man on North Bend Road near Colerain Avenue was grazed in the neck by a bullet, Cincinnati police say.
He was taken to University of Cincinnati Medical Center.
His injuries are considered non-life threatening, according to police.
Further details were not immediately released.
