Varanasi: A scientific study has revealed that Delta variant of coronavirus predominates in Varanasi. The Banaras Hindu University (BHU) and the CSIR-Centre for Cellular and Molecular Biology (CCMB), Hyderabad have collaboratively sequenced genomes of coronavirus variants in Varanasi and adjoining areas.
