Can you tell us a bit about yourselves? Ellis: My name is Ellis and I live at Ladyyard Farm, Mauchline, with my Dad, Stuart, Mum Fiona and little brother, Ellis. We milk around 200 Holstein dairy cows. I am in 3rd year at Robert Burns Academy. Unfortunately, I haven’t attended school very much in the last year due to Covid, but I have made the most of it and enjoyed my time at home helping my dad on the farm. I love working with the calves on the farm and I have led calves since I was about three years old and I could not imagine my life without cows and my pony, Breeze. I’m definitely more a cows girl than a tractors girl, when it comes to farm work. ....
