Temple is taking its first steps toward joining Salado, Harker Heights and more than 50 other cities as a Music Friendly Texas community.
The Texas Music Office and Visit Graham are hosting a public Music Friendly Texas Community Workshop next week, which is the first step in the process for Graham to be certified as a Music Friendly Texas Community. The Music Friendly Community Program was created in 2016 to provide Texas communities with a network to foster music industry development and show local interest to industry professionals for attracting and developing the music industry.
Tuesday, March 9, 2021 The City of San Marcos Convention & Visitor Bureau will host an online Music Friendly Community Workshop on Wednesday at 6 p.m., sponsored by the Texas Music Office. The workshop is open to the public and will include a presentation about the state’s Music Friendly Community Program followed by a Q&A session with organizers.
