The Summer Concert Series will bring the music downtown again this year with five free performances held in partnership with Visit Graham and Graham Concert Association. After closing out its inaugural concert series in August 2023, Visit Graham and the Graham Concert Association worked together to make it happen again this summer.
The Texas Music Office and Visit Graham are hosting a public Music Friendly Texas Community Workshop next week, which is the first step in the process for Graham to be certified as a Music Friendly Texas Community. The Music Friendly Community Program was created in 2016 to provide Texas communities with a network to foster music industry development and show local interest to industry professionals for attracting and developing the music industry.
The Summer Concert Series closed out its inaugural season Saturday and a successful run which drew crowds and visitors to the Graham downtown square. The free concerts were provided as a partnership between Visit Graham and the Graham Concert Association. Five concerts were held as a way to utilize the downtown square and attract locals and visitors. Visit Graham CEO and GCA board member Cathy Partridge said Visit Graham are interested in bringing the series back next year.
