Following graduation, he enlisted in the U S. Marine Corps and served his Country proudly overseas in Vietnam. When returning home, he met Nancy Demers of Biddeford and they soon married. ....
Robert O. Demers. MONTVILLE Robert O. Demers, 85, of Montville passed away on January 8th, 2021, surrounded by his beloved family. He was born in Manchester, New Hampshire on August 25, 1935. Robert was a hardworking man throughout his whole life even filling two job positions throughout his long battle with cancer. You may remember him working for the Town of Montville or driving for Waldo County Transportation. Or even from his earlier years while working as a Heavy Equipment Operator for the Union Local #4. When Robert was not working, you would likely see him with his daughter and wife on arm for his world and happiness revolved around them. He spent a lot of time sipping on a Dunkin’ Donuts coffee with an old fashion doughnut in hand. ....
