A $1,500 grant from the St. Paulâs United Church of Christ conference was intended to be for the congregation at the 202 W. Union St., Somerset, site to help provide for children and families, alongside a group called Love for the World.
Love fore the World is made of local churches and community members.
Then the pandemic happened. Schools closed. Students set up classrooms in their homes. Many businesses shut down. It became a challenging time for many.
The quandary: What to do with the grant money?
