In lieu of the traditional candlelight Christmas Eve service, which was cancelled due to COVID, the United Church got creative and set up a drive-by live nativity for passerby to enjoy on Christmas Eve, accompanied by traditional Christmas music.
Members of the congregation beared the cold to dress up as Mary, Joseph, wise-men and shepherd’s from 6:30-7:30p.m.

Happy December everyone – hope you are getting into the Christmas spirit. What a delight to see all the Christmas lighting displays and the village Christmas decorations and lights. It is so encouraging to see the stores on the West side of Huron Street all occupied. And thanks too to the folks on the East side of the street – not many empty spaces there either. Thanks folks for making our village more available to our area. And how do you like the new flashing lights at the 4 corner stop?  Pretty fancy I would say – we have come up in the world. It is good to see the new houses started east of the 15th on the new street. Progress is good.
