"Few-layer hexagonal boron nitride / 3D printable polyurethane composit" by Jonathan C. Knott, Hadis Khakbaz et al.

Functional polymer composites can confer a range of benefits in practical applications that go beyond the individual properties of the constituent materials. Here we investigate and characterize the neutron absorbing capability of few-layer hexagonal boron nitride (h-BN) in composite with a 3D-printable thermoplastic polyurethane, and present experiment and simulation data to understand the processes and mechanisms in play. Shielding and protection from neutrons can be necessary in a range of terrestrial and space-based applications. The neutron absorption of composites with varying fractions of h-BN is strongly energy-dependent in the low-energy regime below 10 meV, and a composite containing 20 wt% h-BN shows a 70-fold reduction in the transmission relative to pure polyurethane at 0.5 meV neutron energies. This is attributed to the strong neutron capture cross-section of the naturally abundant boron-10 isotope, with energy-dependent measurements up to 100 meV confirming this point. U ....

The immune cells take up the vaccine them. they take up the nano particles. they start making spike protein. they get your cells to produce lots of spike protein. spike is the most toxic part of the virus and the immune cells lush into the lymph system, many end up in the spleen which is where you want them to be, to produce the antibodies. that s the goal so they have designed it and they very happy to see that they end up in the spleen making lots of spike protein, and then invoking an immune response that produces antibodies by the b cells. the problem is those cells notice spleen is really the place where parkinson disease develops and probably many other neuro degenerative diseases. but parkinson s, it s been well out that you get prion-like protein, from infections in the gut they take it from the spleen to centers, and spewing out lipid particles that are released by the cells unloading ....

So now scientists have figured out a way to block that bad enzyme from forming and they take this treatment and they package it up in nano particles which means microscopic. that s what you want to know. it s a microscopic particle that gets to the source of the wound and heals it. your next question which i anticipate is when is this in the doctor s office? can i go get it? right now, it s passed mice and human tissue. it s going to go to pigs now which david will tell you we use in medical school to teach us how to sew. i failed that. that s why he s a surgeon and i m not. from pigs it gets to doctor s offices a few years away. what exactly is it? think about nano technology as something that s almost at the level of a cell. it s tiny. something you would never be ....
