Energy Efficiency Services (EESL) has announced the National Efficient Cooking Programme (NECP) and Energy Efficient Fans Programme (EEFP) to promote energy-efficient cooking practices and the use of energy-efficient fans. The NECP aims to distribute 2 million energy-efficient induction cookstoves, reducing the environmental impact of cooking practices and improving air quality.
EESL, a joint venture of public sector undertakings under Ministry of Power, launched its National Efficient Cooking Programme (NECP) and Energy Efficient Fans Programme (EEFP) on November 2, a statement said.
