It is hard to read too much into that. the thing that i saw, heard when you gave that report, rifd, they were sending him off for a mental health evaluation, and so that is a significant part. usually, if you think that somebody doesn t need that, why would you do that? we didn t send people off routinely for mental health evaluations when they committed horrendous crimes unless they needed to have them medically evaluated. so something must have been during the evaluation or the speech or something they found out, and so that is why counter terrorism command may not be getting rid of it either, because who knows what the guy is saying to them. so, naveed is right, it does not ramp it up for us much, and we don t have all of the answers. they are seeming to be on top of it, and they did kill down that witness saying that there were o other players, and they believe this is the only player at the scene. it does not mean co-conspirators ....

Is that this is not necessarily being considered as a larger traditional attack as we have seen, unfortunately in the last several incidents. so those are the two important pieces. i think they re put out there, those pieces of information are put out there very much in large part i think to assuage some of the fears and address some of the concerns that the muslim community in london specifically must be feeling. and naveed, i was talking earlier with jim cavanaugh, he had mentioned domestic extremists. and that this could possibly be sort of a lone wolf or a madman, actually, is how he had put it. how difficult is it to track these kinds of events? i know that there s international chat where there are larger events or we know it s being backed by a sdesh group. when you have these sort of rogue people, these possible lone wolf mad men terrorists, how do you track this being in law enforcement? that s a very good question. it s very important to separate the intelligence communit ....

Al qaeda or isis. for every police force, for every national law enforcement agency, the physical thing is when someone doesn t have the indicate there s one can track. traveling to syria, things that we are already looking at. i think that is the difficult thing. because in effect you are looking for a needle amongst a stack of needles. how do you find that one person when they don t present a profile that is traditional, and more importantly, is something you can track? from a law enforcement perspective, that is very difficult. someone who has no history of this, someone who has no background of this, has made no statements, has done no traveling abroad. they re not going to show up and we ve seen that in the united states as well. a very difficult problem for law enforcement to solve. as this story develops, naveed, we ll hopefully get more information on this 48-year-old man arrested in this incident. naveed jamali, please stay with ....

Pointed out a terrorist incident. and then not releasing any further details. so on one hand they re trying to i think quell the community, but on the other hand they re clearly physically treating this much more along the lines of a traditional homicide i think as jim cavanaugh pointed out and the images you have now. you re looking at more of a traditional crime scene. whereas if you go back to the last attack, the police were detonating they weren t worried about collecting evidence, they were concerned about the ieds and bombs and the like. this really is more akin to sort of a homicide investigation, but there is an element here of community policing. there s a lot of concern. i think rightfully so from this marginalized community within the uk. real concern, the first thing they came out and said, rightfully so, they want to hear this being called a terrorist attack. so that s i think what the elected government has done. naveed, what does this do to residents of london? this ....

Be true, it really did avoid, but just by a matter, as he described moments of minutes what could have been a horrific result, and right now, for those joining, one dead and at least ten injured in this london incident. if indeed, they have, they were still in prayer, it could have been much, much worse. lucy, thank you so much for the interview. very, very insightful in terms of how the to understand what is happening here. naveed jamali is still with us, as well as jim cavenaugh, and naveed, you may have heard what hussein ali was telling the reporter lucy kafanov, and we have new detail which is new, and also what is new is the pictures on the left-hand side now that we have the sun in the sky, and we are getting pictures of what is actually on the ground. that is something that we did not have a little bit earlier. we can see the tent there which ....
