One of America’s largest airlines is changing its boarding process to make it faster. It could be even faster.

United Airlines plans to implement a new boarding process for economy class passengers, starting with those in Group 4. Passengers with window seats will board first, followed by those with middle seats and then those with aisle seats. The change is expected to improve efficiency and save up to two minutes of boarding time. The airline also reported earnings of $1.14 billion in the third quarter but forecasted weaker profits for the rest of the year due to surging jet fuel prices and the suspension of flights to Tel Aviv during the Israel-Hamas war.
