The lowest single-day tally of634 new infections in the country was reported on July 14 last year. PH logs 838 Covid-19 cases, lowest daily count for 2021

MANILA - The Department of Health (DOH) on Sunday logged 838 new Covid-19 cases, the lowest single-day case count for 2021. In its daily Covid-19 bulletin, the DOH also reported 1,217 new recoveries that reduced the country's active cases to just 16,630 or a mere 0.6 percent of total infections since March last year. Of the active cases, 47.8 percent are listed as mild, 7.1 percent asymptomatic, 6.5 percent critical, 15.2 percent severe, and 23.36 percent moderate.
