Nebraska Chapter of College Football Hall of Fame adds six former Huskers Share Updated: 6:11 PM CDT Jul 20, 2021 Six members of the Nebraska Cornhuskers 1971 Championship football team will now be part of the Nebraska Football Hall of Fame. The Nebraska Chapter of the National Football Foundation and the College Football Hall of Fame made the announcement Tuesday.The new inductees are:John Adkins, Defensive End, 1968-71. Adkins made 41 tackles and had 10 tackles for loss in his senior season. Doug Dumler, Center, 1970-72Dumler was a three-year starter at center for the Huskers and played five seasons in the NFL with the Patriots and the Vikings

The University of Nebraska Athletics Department has announced the following inductees into the Nebraska Hall-of Fame:
Van Brownson, Quaterback, 1968-1971
Carl Selmer, Assistant Coach, 1962-1972
Ray Phillips, Defensive End, 1975-1976
Doug DuBose, Running Back, 1982-1986
Chris Bober, Nebraska-Omaha, Offensive Line, 1996-1999
As a result of COVID-19 the 2020 Nebraska Hall of Fame class will be officially inducted in the fall of 2021.

Six standout players and a long-time assistant coach are part of the 2020 Nebraska Football Hall of Fame Class announced on Thursday. The group includes five former Husker players and a Division II All-American.
