Description: Pseudautomeris luteata is a moth of the family Saturniidae, whose males, like this shown in photographs, have got wingspan between 63 and 78mm, while the females are slightly larger, measuring between 79 and 92mm. Its larvae has the Alibertia edulis and Emmotum nitens as host plants. However, as described in a paper published in Neotropical Entomology journal, a small number of individuals has been found feeding on leaves of corn (Zea mays L.) in Piracicaba, State of São Paulo, Brazil.
