LOS ANGELES, CA New daily coronavirus cases soared past the 1,100 mark Friday, painting a troubling portrait of a community still vulnerable to the pandemic.
Los Angeles County reported 1,107 new COVID cases Friday, double the number reported a week ago. It s the highest number of new cases reported in a single day since March, andhospitalizations and positive test rates are also trending in the wrong direction.
