3月22日，她来到邻县的蒲城县在这里租了一个房子，想打工赚钱，之后来到一家叫“新皇宫国际”KTV做陪侍，柳午夷说，是一个张姓女同学介绍她来后就走了。
柳午夷在这里主要工作是陪客人唱歌喝酒，每两个小时300元钱，经理从她们的陪侍费里面拿提成。柳午夷称在这里大概干了一个多月。
6月12日凌晨5点，柳午夷下班回家，发现有8个人跟着她。这8个人跟着她到了租赁的3楼房子后，抢过了她的手机开始打她。“扇耳光，用脚踹”，柳午夷缩着身子坐在地上，任由她们群殴。”这伙人说我骂了其中一人，我被打得昏了过去，他们又用水和啤酒把我浇醒再打……我昏昏沉沉的大概持续一两个小时候，我被扶起来坐在窗台上”，柳午夷说，这8个人里面她认识几个，都是KTV店里的。
坐在窗台上的柳午夷从3楼窗子上坠到一楼晕了过去，醒来的时候在医院里。“坐在窗户旁边，一个指头或一阵风都能把我捅下去，我已经神志不清，也不知道是自己坠楼还是被扔下去的”。但是柳午夷的母亲坚持认为自己女儿是被扔下去的。
8月2日，开屏新闻记者从多个渠道了解到，柳午夷被打前后的过程。
目前，警方已经将8名嫌疑人以涉嫌伤害罪刑拘后转为逮捕。警方初步调查认为，柳午夷是自己坠楼的，而不是被扔下去的。
组织未成年人陪侍者被抓
涉案的新皇宫国际KTV
当地政法部门一位不愿具名的工作人员说，案件发生后当地公安部门非常重视，因为牵涉未成年人，蒲城县检察院也提前介入，很快就将8名犯罪嫌疑人抓获归案。
由于组织未成年人陪侍，多名组织者也被警方采取了强制性措施，目前，等待检方批捕。加上此前的打人者，犯罪嫌疑人至少有15人。
柳午夷的遭遇，也引起陕西省妇联、陕西省教育厅、澄城县政府的高度重视，刘海英说，澄城县政府多方筹集资金，包括蒲城县公安局、澄城县教育局、妇联等，已经筹款30多万元。
截止发稿时，渭南市政法部门表示将严厉打击这种侵害未成年犯罪的案例，有关部门称将在全市范围内展开一次“打击未成年人陪侍”的执法活动。
“我感染的地方很痛，我好了后，还是想返回学校”，视频中，柳午夷说。
