New Jersey man returns home after being stranded in India for weeks

NEWARK, N.J. (WCBS 880) A man from New Jersey who was trapped in India for several weeks has finally made it back home to his family.
Ashu Mahajan, who lives in Scotch Plains in Union County, was stuck for weeks, not because of the travel restrictions imposed by the U.S. as the virus ravaged India, but because his visa was tied up in bureaucratic red tape.
Mahajan went to the country when he found out his father was sick and was able to stay, despite the risks, on a work visa that was approved last year. ....
