紐約州議會就「排名選舉」聽證市選委會成箭靶

有民意代表和社區團體在聽證會門外集會，表達了他們一致的看法，就是「排名選舉制度」（Ranked choice voting）沒有問題，而問題出在紐約市選舉委員會上。
在今年紐約市的初選日，首次採取「排名選舉投票制度」，其中的紐約市長初選計票中，出現錯誤點算13萬5千張的測試選票，一度導致結果誤差。
紐約州眾議員 Robert Carroll：「我不知道是誰出的『好』主意，用真實的選舉人名字作為測試選票，之後又不把這些選票銷毀，這些失誤一直在發生。」
而此前，紐約市議會亞非拉小組的多名議員曾表示，「排名選舉投票制度」過於複雜，讓少數族裔選民、教育水平較低、年紀大的選民投票率降低。
在接下來11月的普選中，紐約市還將繼續使用「排名選舉制度」投票。 ....
