GroupM anticipates a 10.2% growth in Indian advertising revenue for 2024, totaling ₹1,55,386 crore. This projection reflects a slight decrease from the 11.3% growth observed in 2023. The surge in advertising expenditure will primarily be fueled by Lok Sabha elections, cricket events, and sectors such as auto, real estate, retail, and SMEs. Digital advertising is expected to dominate, capturing 70% of incremental ad revenue, with e-commerce and connected TV driving growth.
