San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle, Green Bay Packers running back Aaron Jones and New England Patriots long snapper Joe Cardona are the finalists for the NFL's 13th annual Salute to Service Award. The league and sponsor USAA made the announcement on Tuesday. The finalists were chosen from among 32 nominees — one from each team — who have shown support for the military community.

Before the biggest NFL event of the year in February, football fans will have the opportunity to play a different sport with players and legends at the Super Bowl Bowling Classic.

On Sunday, during the first quarter of the game, the Jaguars Foundation and NFL Foundation will join with local community organizations to present a combined donation in support of the residents of New Town.

During Sunday’s home opener, the Jaguars will honor the victims of the Aug. 26 racially motivated shooting at a Dollar General store.

The money will go to install impenetrable doors, cameras inside and outside buildings, and unscalable fencing.
