A man was pronounced dead at around 10:10 p.m. Saturday after being struck by a vehicle on the Pennyrile Parkway, according to a Kentucky State Police press release. Authorities have released more information about a wreck on Pennyrile Parkway led to the death of a Mississippi man Saturday night. State Police say 21-year-old Navarro Mitchell Jr., of Weir, was northbound when his car ran off the road and into the median. After the wreck, Mitchell got out of the car and tried to cross the parkway to talk to another motorist. Mitchell was reportedly hit by a northbound vehicle driven by 37-year-old Nicholas Starr, of Madisonville.
