Two killed in Interstate 89 crash in Sharon Modified: 5/26/2021 1:21:32 AM SHARON, Vt. — A 60-year-old Vermont woman and her 94-year-old passenger were killed Tuesday afternoon after their vehicle crossed the median on Interstate 89 and collided with an oncoming SUV, according to Vermont State Police. The driver, Gail Parent, of Northfield, Vt., was taken by helicopter to Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center and later died, according to a news release from Vermont State Police.
