Kubiak is closing on his first season with the 49ers, who hired him after he spent the 2022 season as the Broncos' passing game coordinator/quarterbacks coach. While Denver's pass offense struggled mightily that year, the Vikings' offense ranked in the top half of the league every season while Kubiak served as their offensive coordinator from 2019-21. Under former Minnesota coach Mike Zimmer, Kubiak helped run a version of the widely popular Shanahan offense and also worked as the team's quarterbacks coach.
