Flintstones sequel series has rolled onto Fox. Say it with me, folks, Yabba-Dabba-Doo!
Word has arrived by an exotic talking bird that Fox is developing a primetime animated adult comedy series with Elizabeth Banks (
Charlie Angels, 
Hunger Games) star set to voice Pebbles Flintstone in addition to producing. Banks has been developing the project, titled 
Bedrock, for several years with Warner Bros. Animation under her overall deal via her Brownstone Productions studio.
Bedrock will follow the Flintstone family two decades after the original, with Fred on the brink of retirement and 20-something Pebbles embarking on her own career. As the Stone Age gives way to a shiny and enlightened new Bronze Age, the residents of Bedrock will find this evolution harder than a swing from Bamm-Bamm’s club. ....

So the Academy Awards went down on Sunday night. Although I missed the majority of the show, it was good to hear there was some diversity in this year s winners. But, there were definitely some actors who were snubbed from the show. However, Jamie Foxx made history. The animated film Soul
won the Oscar for Best Animated Film, which made Jamie Foxx the first leading Black Actor to win for an animated film. And I was hoping for this win for Daniel Kaluuya who starred in Judas and the Black Messiah. He won the for best supporting actor for his role as Fred Hampton. And let s not forget Tyler Perry who gave a thought provoking speech when he received the high honor and got the Humanitarian Award. However, Viola Davis and Andra Day were nominated for their roles in Ma Rainey s Black Bottom and Billie Holiday vs. The United States, respectively.
