Here. Reporter first i want to show how close the garage is to a house next door. You see the roof and the back porch to that home are damaged pretty badly this morning. Firefighters got the call at 1 39 this morning. The garage fire. They were sent to fight it, but it grew out of control. Firefighters did evacuate near good by homes as a precaution. It took firefighters an hour to get things under control. They were able to keep the fire from spreading any further. We talked to one neighbor who saw the fire and feared the worst.
