Were up there 16 hours before coming down about an hour ago. Tom roussey is live for the message they were hoping to send. Certainly the talk of this part of town all day long and into the night. Finallyago, l street reopened after being shut down the entire day. About an hour ago, the protesters came down. There is video we took ,on l 15th and 16th street. Seven greenpeace protesters finally decided the 217 foot put in the back of a police van, and taken away to apparently spend the night in jail. Its not clear what charges they will face. Very early this morning. Apparently before the construction crew got here, they scaled to the top and spent the entire day unfurling a banner that said resist that you could very easily sefr white house. Some folks applaud it with a data, others were not so happy, including members of the construction crew that lost an entire day working on this retail building. These construction guys are not happy. They lost a day of work. What do you say to them ....
