HAMMOND â Tyler Brignac has been promoted to postoperative director of North Oaks Medical Center, bringing 10 years of patient care and management expertise to his new role. The hospitalâs verified and certified Level II Trauma Center will remain under Brignacâs auspices as it has for the past four years. He will add the responsibility of leading the Ortho/Neuro, General Surgery and Surgical Intensive Care Units. As director, he will oversee staff education, clinical practice supervision, maintenance of appropriate care resources, budgeting and compliance with applicable regulations, policies and procedures. âTyler has forged strong working relationships with our staff at large and excels at coordinating patient care across multiple areas of the health system. No doubt, this will continue to serve him well in his expanded role,â said Terri Lewis, vice president of Emergency and Surgical Services at North Oaks Medical Center. âHe is truly dedicated to our patients, his profession and improving lives.â
HAMMOND â Lisa Goings, a registered nurse, has been promoted to director of North Oaks Hospice, a new release said. A 27-year employee of North Oaks Health System, Goings will guide clinical specialists in attending to the medical, pain management, emotional and spiritual needs of hospice patients facing life-limiting illness, as well as bereavement follow-up for their families and caregivers. She will drive all aspects of hospice operations, including but not limited to, staff education, clinical practice supervision, maintenance of appropriate care resources, budgeting and compliance with applicable regulations, laws, policies and procedures. Goings has garnered a broad spectrum of experience in many aspects of the medical field during her North Oaks tenure.
