You will often find a certain type of show at the Studio in the Basement Theatre. Normally a is projector involved, factoring in a lot of Photoshop and videos that wouldn t have felt out of
place in the early days of YouTube. The performer has a few costume changes to match, as well as a lot of props and sporadic audience involvement that you never quite see coming.
Rarely do those shows work, often weighed down by too many ideas and not enough editing before the performer works on stage. Few performers are able to pull these types of shows off to the extent that Maria Williams did on the opening night of Anxiety…The Musical!? ....

We often highlight the negativities of men: Sarah Khan

Now, in an interview with the
BBC, Khan has detailed why she was hospitalised, how she and Shabbir got married, and why it is – in fact – imperative for them to display affection online.
“I actually fell really sick, and people thought I was in Turkey when that happened but I was shooting for my latest project in Pakistan. I had severe migraine, typhoid, along with two, three other things. So everything happened at once but I loved the way people reacted, their concern was a blessing for me, Khan told the outlet.
Courtesy of social media, because of which private information does not remain private for too long, the host asked Khan if she is bothered by this quick traveling of information she may have not sent out, or might have little control over. “One thing, which I am certain about, is people can only see what we want them to see. What we show, will be talked about, then we can’t say that that is wrong,” asserted Khan. ....

The power of meditation
I fly quite frequently domestically around New Zealand for work and often listen to a short meditation, writes Jane. Last week I chose an abundance meditation. In the evening I joined
my online meditation group and when that finished I opened the BNZ app to pay my koha. Wow! Two new term deposits had been created in my name, each for $500,000. Sadly I m pretty sure these aren t for me and have messaged BNZ to let them know, but full marks to the abundance meditation for effort.
Mundane love stories ....

EFF fury at Unisa’s failure to obey court order and enroll 20,000 more students
Varsity was ordered by higher education to cut its first-time student enrollment. Then the EFF intervened with court action
15 April 2021 - 19:24
The EFF’s national student command (EFFSC) has expressed disappointment over Unisa’s delay in enrolling about 20,000 first-time entering (FTEN) students despite being ordered to do so by the North Gauteng High Court in Pretoria last month.
The EFFSC’s comments come amid a move by the portfolio committee of higher education to summon Unisa’s senior management as well as its council to parliament on May 6 to explain why it over-enrolled first-time entering students by 20,000. ....
