The Ohio County Sheriff s Office discovered a box containing various explosives in a farm field Monday morning and is investigating the origin of the explosives.

McHENRY, Ky. (WFIE) - Authorities confirm a man was shot in Ohio County on Friday night.
According to the Ohio County Sheriffâs Office, deputies received a call about a man getting shot at a home on Howard Street in McHenry.
One authorities arrived on scene, deputies say they discovered the man with a gunshot wound in his lower abdomen.
Officials told 14 News the man was flown to Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville, Tennessee.
