The Marble Cliff Gateway Mansion has been approved for state historic tax credits, allowing the 112-year-old landmark on W. 5th Avenue to be redeveloped. The Ohio Controlling Board’s funding approvals at its last scheduled meeting of 2020 included funding for a gas station site cleanup project in Painesville. According to board documents, the city of Painesville will receive more than $317,000 for the project at 750 S.
