From The Tribune staff reports JEFFERSON COUNTY — Authorities are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a burglary suspect in Jefferson County. According to a post from Crime Stoppers of Metro Alabama, Jefferson County Sheriff’s detectives are investigating a burglary at the Love Lady Thrift Store on Old Springville Rd. in the early morning hours of June 25, 2021. PINSON — A section of Old Springville Rd. has been closed in Pinson following a single-car accident. Submitted photo The wreck occurred on Thursday afternoon near Clearview Baptist Church, which is located at 5271 Old Springville Rd. It appears that a sedan struck a utility pole in the area, snapping the top-portion of the structure. Center Point Fire is on the scene. No injuries have been reported.
